That's something I don't get a whole lot of....just adults. Sure I get adults all the time during family sessions, but there are usually a few children sprinkled in the mix. This time around it was all adults, but we still managed to channel our inner children for this session, just check out the portrait in the train for proof of that!

That's right....14! My largest group yet. The record before this was 12. Groups this large are not an easy task as creativity seems to get lost in numbers. The key is organization, and by golly, they were organized. The whole session lasted about 45 minutes (again...great organization) and there are the standard "everyone smile at the camera" moments, but what they did give me were some great candid moments also and I was able to capture what I believe is the true relationships of each of it's members.
Yep..complete with acres of pasture, huge oak trees, wildflowers, round bails of hay, an ATV, and one gorgeous momma-to-be! It was a very, very HOT day and we were all sweating like crazy, but it was worth it. These two were hilarious to be around and we ended up having a great time regardless of how uncomfortable it was.
I think Jaxon and I had a battle of wills when it came to him falling asleep. He fought hard but eventually (like 2.5 hours later eventually) I won, and what I got was well worth it. I did capture some wonderful awake images too, but there is just something about a sleepy newborn that warms my heart!
This is Leigh. She has got to be the happiest baby on the planet. We shot for just over an hour and I think I saw her take a smile off her face MAYBE twice. What a personality too! She waived and flirted with passers by and quickly became one of my great friends! She has a great laugh too, her whole body gets into it and you can see the smile in her eyes too, and WOW those eyes!
